What a fantastic day yesterday at Clonmany Community Garden for our first Green Guardians Biodiversity Training with KPM Soils.
We explored the hidden world of soil spotting microbes under the microscope and learning how healthy soil and clean water go hand in hand.
We also looked at soil compaction, when soil gets squashed, it squeezes out air and water, making it tough for roots to grow and rain to soak in.
