Volunteer Opportunity: Brash Bundling with Inishowen Rivers Trust
We’re inviting volunteers to join us this Saturday, 5th July, for a Brash Bundling Day at Trean House, Culdaff (Eircode: F93 E52H), starting at 11am.
Brash bundles are made from natural materials and play a vital role in natural flood management. They help slow down water, reduce erosion, and create valuable habitat for riverbank wildlife. The bundles we prepare on Saturday will be used later this year to help restore a section of eroding riverbank.
This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute directly to river restoration and climate resilience efforts in Inishowen. No experience is necessary—just bring outdoor clothing and a willingness to get involved!
