KINNEGAR 24-HOUR CHALLENGE

We are delighted to announce that Inishowen Rivers Trust has been chosen by Kinnegar Brewing as this year’s chosen charity.

Check out the details below. If you’d like to donate, big or small, you can do so by clicking on the GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/035c08c5 . A huge thank you to Kinnegar Brewing for their commitment to serving their community and for helping us to protect our rivers.

Friday 19 & Saturday 20 July

Matching last year’s monumental effort will be a big ask but the Kinnegar team are challenging themselves to deliver once more for a great cause in 2024. The aim is again to keep moving for 24 hours, this time in aid of the INISHOWEN RIVERS TRUST, a unique initiative focused on the conservation and restoration of rivers, natural waterbodies, and surrounding lands within Inishowen.

Our target is to raise €1000 to help with IRT’s environmental initiatives aimed at preserving natural habitats and connecting communities with nature. The Trust’s ongoing projects cover flood mitigation, water quality, habitat creation, erosion control, tree planting and invasive species control.

Kinnegar Brewing has a core team of 19 players, with many veterans of earlier days ready to pitch in from the sidelines. Between us all, there will be someone running, cycling, hiking, swimming, horse riding or who-knows-what from 3pm on Friday 18th, straight through until 3pm on Saturday 20th July. We’ll update you on the rota as soon as we have it figured out!
