Busy times at the Carn Show!
July 20th 2019 – The Trust had a great time at the Carn Show on Saturday 20th July. Lots of activity in the Food Enterprise Tent with lovely neighbours and the smell of delicious food coming from all sides! Directors Mervyn, Claire and Trish had plenty of time to chat to folk who stopped by to view the Trust stall. A few giveaways kindly donated by the Atlantic Salmon Trust and a chance to demonstrate the SuDS House. This model of 2 semi-detached houses illustrates how making small changes around your home and property can help to slow down the flow of overland water such as during a heavy rain storm and flooding. The models shows how using a water butt can store water and planting in the right places can hold water for several hours.
